IMPORTANT JEWELRY IN MY LIFE
Hea meelega loeks neid kommentaarides :)
Every piece of jewelry has a story and we all have at least one ring, necklace or bracelet that is very important to us and has an interesting story behind it. I have more than one special jewelry in my life (my engagement ring, wedding ring, grandmother's earrings, my graduation ring etc) but there is one special ring that was meant for me when I was just a little girl and about that I want to write for you today.
It was year 1992 and the official currency in Estonia was the ruble. Rubles were as a currency for a long time but that year was the last year before the currency changed and Estonia finally got it's own currency. My mum wanted to use the old currency to buy something valuable. So she bought some golden rings and put one of them on hold for me. It was kept on a tiny red box in my mothers closet. She decided to give to me as a gift when I would turn 18. I got it a bit later for my high school graduation gift. I didn't started to wear it right away, because back then I liked wearing silver jewelry. My taste changed when I was studying at the university and since then I only wear gold. I wear this ring ever since and if one day I'll get a daughter, I want to pass it on to her :)
If you are interested very special and unique jewelry then you should check Invaluable webpage. And I would love to hear stories about special jewelry's in your life in the comments section below :)
That ring is gorgeous! And I love this blog post. To me, there are so many reasons jewelry can be important but I find the biggest one (for me) is who gives it or how I got it!
VastaKustutaThank you so much Deanna :) And it really matters who gives you the jewelry (agree!)
